I visited Mimi's Gardens on a Saturday morning. The sign in the driveway indicated that the store was open, so my son and I pulled in. At the same time, another car arrived, and a young man got out, introduced himself as the owner's son, and asked how he could help. I explained that it was my first visit and that I was looking to purchase some flowers. He then informed me that this was his mother's business and that they were actually closed. Pointing to my car, I was told to leave. Rather than a simple, friendly notice about the hours, I felt his approach was unnecessarily harsh. I apologized, and my son and I returned to our car, while the young man stood and watched us leave, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I felt disrespected and unwelcome, despite doing nothing wrong. As a result, I do not plan to return. I am a 55-year-old woman, just trying to buy some plants, and being treated in such a manner was upsetting and completely uncalled for.

Such a gorgeous collection of flowers, vines,and succulents. Cool upcycled ideas using garden variety of plants. The owners, Melissa & Matt, offer the best customer service and are happy to share their knowledge with you. Make sure to put this garden shop on your list of best place to buy flowers.

Beautiful plants and flowers. Great customer service, right down to telling me how to take care of the ones that I did not know about. Very helpful and I look forward to being a repeat customer.
